![]() ![]() Transformation is really good with the explosive barrel talent and the Accio>Descendo>Incendio combo can make short work of a group of enemies. This is kind of my “OH SHIT!” set if I’m getting overrun. SS3: Transformation(i) - Descendo(i) - Accio(i) - Incendio(i). Again, Glacius and Flipendo have good cool-downs. ![]() SS2: Glacius(i) - Diffindo(i) - Flipendo - ExpelliarmusĪnother main battle set with a great damage combo (Glacius>Diffindo). I like Levioso and Depulso for their low cool-downs and versatility during fights. This is my main battle set mostly for fighting at range and keeping enemies at a distance. SS1: Levioso(i)- Bombarda(i) - Depulso(i)- Confringo(i) This is on a character who isn’t learning any dark arts spells. I also preferred placing them diagonally to each other, such as utilities in the left and bottom and battle in the top and right, which made it easier for me to switch more quickly to the set I needed.I’ve got to around 40 hours playtime now and have spent a fair chunk of that playing around with different layouts, but I’ve finally settled on some that work brilliantly. That leaves the other two sets with plenty of space for battling spells. ![]() What worked best in my own experience is having two sets specifically for utility-based activities, such as customization in the Room of Requirement, and ones that are more likely to be used for puzzles around the castle. This allows for easy organization and quick access to more spells without having to go in and out of your spellbook. Once you upgrade your Spell Knowledge, you'll have four spell sets available.
